Information for Presenters
We want to ensure that all presenters have the support to successfully participate in this virtual space. There are three types of presentations: Oral Presentation, Poster shared on Gathering webpage and Poster Online with Presentation. We hope that every presenter steps out of their comfort zone and uses this conference to expand their technology skills. For those who have concerns about internet connection, technology or just want to touch base, please contact us at ombaashi@tru.ca. This is a learning experience for all of us and the Indigenous Mentor Network Program is excited to join you on this journey.
Invite guests to your presentation
COVID-19 has forced us to find new ways to share knowledge and participate in academia. Research has often left out Indigenous students, researchers and communities. We would like to take this opportunity to use technology to allow presenters to open up the world of academia to those not normally included. We would like you to invite your families, friends and communities to witness your work and other researchers. They can register to attend here.
