What level of students are you seeking?
Masters, and PhD (by special arrangement – for more information see: https://www.uvic.ca/graduate/programs/specialized-programs/graduate-programs-by-special-arrangement/index.php)

Do your potential students have the opportunity to work on a funded project?
Possibly.

Admission to the Master of Social Work Indigenous Specialization (MSWI) or general Master of Social Work (MSWA) programs require either: 1) a Bachelor of Social Work degree; or 2) successful completion of a one year Master of Social Work Foundation (MSWF) program.  UVic admits MSWI and MSWF students in alternating years (i.e. MSWF students in fall 2021, MSWI students in fall 2022) and MSWA students every year.   Applicants interested in a SPARR PhD require a master’s degree preferably in social work.  More information about the MSW programs can be accessed here: https://www.uvic.ca/hsd/socialwork/current/msw/index.php
